Uwe Diegel was a concert pianist until the age of 26. Following an accident that restricted movement in in right arm, he started a new career in medical diagnostics. He has been CEO of some of the world’s best-known medical diagnostics companies, including Microlife, Spengler and iHealth. In 2017, Uwe created Lifeina and MedActiv following an incident when his brother nearly died when a hotel froze his insulin by mistake.
Uwe is today considered to be a foremost expert in the manufacturing of medical devices and has been at the forefront of international changes in healthcare technology for the last 30 years.
